she was born in 24 february 1948. first time when she joined the political party it was year 1982 .she is 10th , 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th chief minister of tamil nadu .




early career
Her mother persuaded her to work in films when Jayalalithaa was 15 years old and was still in school, taking assurances from producers that shooting would take place only during summer vacations and that she would not miss her classes. Jayalalithaa acted in an English language film, Epistle, released in 1961. She made her debut as the lead actress in Kannada films while still in school, age 15, in Chinnada Gombe(1964). Besides that, she also appeared in a dance sequence of a song named "Malligeya Hoovinantha" in the movie Amarashilpi Jakannachari (1964 film).
In 1972, Jayalalithaa acted opposite Sivaji Ganesan in Pattikada Pattanama, which went on to win the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil in 1973. It fetched her a Filmfare Award for Best Actress. Her performances in Suryakanthi and Chandradhoyam were critically acclaimed and the former won her another Filmfare Award for Best Actress in 1973. The same year she acted in the Telugu Sri Krishna Satya and won her third Filmfare Award for Best Actress.

Jayalalithaa claims that Ramachandran, who had been chief minister for the state since 1977, was instrumental in introducing her to politics. In 1984, when Ramachandran was incapacitated due to a stroke, Jayalalithaa was said to have attempted to take over the position of chief minister or the party on the pretext that his health would prevent him from the proper execution of his duties.She successfully led the campaign in the 1984 general elections, in which the ADMK allied with the Congress.


First term as Chief Minister, 1991

In 1991, following the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi days before the elections, her alliance with the Indian National Congress enabled her to ride the wave of sympathy that gave the coalition victory.The ADMK alliance with the Congress won 225 out of the 234 seats contested and won all 39 constituencies in the centre.Re-elected to the assembly, she became the first female, and the youngest, chief minister, of Tamil Nadu, to serve a full term, serving from 24 June 1991 to 12 May 1996.

she had run the state with keen sensible administrative skills . when she was ruling crime rates were very low and she banned lottery completely .
she tried her best to get rain water harvesting scheme but unfortunately she failed in it .

we all know we cant save us by nature's dissipation and Tamilnadu was one of the worst hit state in the country, displacing and killing many. but in two weeks she cleared all dead bodies and tried her best to give cover up to the state . at the time she asked for 2000 crore to cover up by the damage but mr. p chindbaram gave only 500 crore in parts . but she managed from state's fund and heped to public of state.

Jaya Prada is an Indian film actress and politician. she was born on 3rd april , 1962.
Jaya Prada was born as Lalita Rani in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. Her father Krishna Rao was a Telugu film financier. Her mother Neelaveni enrolled her in dance and music classes at an early age.

When Jaya Prada was 14 years old, she performed a dance at her school's annual function. A film director in the audience offered her a three-minute dance number in the Telugu film Bhoomi Kosam. She was hesitant, but her family encouraged her to accept it. She was paid only 10 rupees for her work in the film, but the rushes of those three minutes of film were shown to the major figures of the Telugu film industry.She became a huge star in 1976 with major hit films.In 1977, she starred in Adavi Ramudu, which broke box office records and which permanently cemented her star status. K. Viswanath remade Siri Siri Muvva (1976) in Hindi as Sargam introducing Jayaprada to Bollywood in 1979. The film was successful and she became a star there as well. She earned her first Filmfare nomination as Best Actress but couldn't capitalize on her success since she couldn't speak Hindi.

Jayaprada joined the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1994 at the invitation of its founder, N. T. Rama Rao, on the eve of the assembly elections, and rose quickly through the ranks. At that time there was speculation that she would run for election, but she preferred not to make her electoral debut, although she was offered a seat by Rao. Prada too joined the Chandrababu Naidu faction of the party.
She was nominated to the Rajya Sabha representing Andhra Pradesh in 1996. She also held the post of Telugu Mahila President.Following differences with party Supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu, she left the TDP to join Samajwadi Party. She contested from Rampur parliamentary Constituency in UP during the 2004 General election and got elected with a margin of more than 85000 votes.On 11 May 2009, Jaya Prada alleged that senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan was distributing nude pictures of her.[17] She was re-elected with a margin of more than 30,000 votes.

Jaya Prada says she hopes to be inducted into the BJP, putting behind her what she calls a "very bitter experience" with the Samajwadi Party and its chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.

"They never respected women," Ms Jaya Prada said about the Samajwadi Party, talking to NDTV in Hyderabad today amid buzz that she is set to join the BJP.

"I admire the Prime Minister and would love to join the BJP," she said, adding, "PM Modi is very different from Mulayam Singh."

Ms Jaya Prada was then the member of Parliament from Rampur in Samajwadi Party-ruled Uttar Pradesh and recalls that powerful state minister Azam Khan, a bitter rival of Amar Singh, had "banned my entry into Rampur."
